Our physicians can aspirate and inject joints with corticosteroids. This is frequently used for diagnostic purposes, but can also offer pain relief.
Ultrasound technology allows us to directly visualize inflammation and damage to the joints at an early stage. This new modality is helping to diagnose arthritis and to help monitor the effectiveness of our treatment.
