Dr. Larry Pearson’s Retirement message to Patients

Dr. Larry Pearson Retirement

Dear Patients,

It has been my pleasure to serve our community for the past 43 years as the first Rheumatologist to establish practice in the county.  During this time, I have had the honor and privilege of meeting many wonderful people while developing cherished doctor-patient relationships.  You, as a patient, have given me more than I have given you in return.  You have given me a solemn purpose in life and a sense of self-worth in my attempt to improve one’s quality of life.   These memories I will carry forward for the remainder of my days. I genuinely thank you for providing me with this opportunity.

Now is the time to retire my shingle and pass along my patients to the other highly competent practitioners at the West Suburban Center for Arthritis: Dr. Douglas Hempel, Dr. Carly Skamra, Dr. Taraneh Mehrani and Nicole Jodat, PA-C. You are welcome to visit our website at www.westsuburbanctr.com and click on “Get to Know Us” to see pictures of the practitioners and their credentials. Please know that all your medical records are safely on file here, at the WSCA, and remain confidential as per federal law.

Over the past four and one-half decades, I have watched many families in the area grow. I have shared many joys and occasional heartaches as I have cared for multiple generations within a family, providing care to thousands of patients.  I am extremely grateful for this faith and sacred trust you have bestowed upon me.  They are ingrained in my heart and soul.

My official retirement will be effective on September 26, 2023.  If you have any questions, you can contact the office at 262-785-0777. I will always be available for your needs and questions until then.

May you be blessed with good health and continued happiness!
